Rajasthan Heritage Tour
Rajasthan's royal cities tell India's most dramatic story. Over 8-10 days, stay in heritage havelis and palace hotels as your guide walks you through the lake-ringed ghats of Udaipur, the blue-washed old city of Jodhpur, and — in the 10-day extension — an overnight desert camp beneath the Jaisalmer sand dunes. Private vehicle throughout. From $1,299 per person.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the 8-day tour include Jaisalmer?
The 8-day tour covers Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaipur. Jaisalmer and the desert camp overnight are included in the 10-day extension. We recommend adding Jaisalmer if time allows — the desert experience is unlike any other part of Rajasthan.
What is the best time to visit Rajasthan?
October to February is best — cool and dry with temperatures between 8°C and 25°C. March and September are shoulder months (warmer but less crowded). Avoid April to August as temperatures exceed 40°C, particularly in Jaisalmer.
What type of accommodation is provided?
Heritage havelis and palace hotels throughout — restored royal properties with traditional Rajasthani architecture. In Jaisalmer, the desert camp uses luxury tents with proper beds, linens, and attached facilities.
Is the camel safari included?
Yes, the camel safari into the Thar Desert sand dunes is included in the 10-day option. It is a 1-2 hour sunset ride followed by a bonfire and folk music at the desert camp.
Can I fly between cities instead of driving?
Yes. Domestic flights between Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Jaipur are available as an upgrade. Flight costs are additional and depend on availability. We can arrange this — ask when booking.
